For thirty-one years, I worked as a hairstylist, and I loved the women I met along the way. I learned that sometimes a small change on the outside can remind a woman of something she has forgotten on the inside — that she is still beautiful, still confident, and still herself.
For years, Bennett and I kept returning to Pawleys Island. We loved the slower pace, the coastal air, and the feeling that life seemed to soften here.
Ten years ago, I knew I was ready for a new chapter. I wanted to create a place for real women — somewhere they could find clothes that felt comfortable, flattering, and beautiful without trying too hard. With Bennett beside me, Bennett & Ellis began.
Now I’m sixty-four, and after ten wonderful years, it’s time for us to begin another chapter. A slower one. More time together, more mornings without a schedule, and more time for all the things we kept saying we would do “one day.”
So Bennett & Ellis is coming to an end, and everything has been reduced to the lowest prices we’ve ever offered.
